At FBPmarket, we believe in helping you create space while making extra cash. Our Declutter Policy outlines how customers and vendors can sell pre-owned or excess items responsibly and smoothly through our platform.
 
 
1. What Is Declutter?
Declutter is our community-driven feature that allows individuals and vendors in Ijebu Ode to list and sell:
- Gently used electronics, phones, or home appliances
- Surplus or excess inventory (for businesses)
- Furniture or household items in good condition
It’s a way to turn unused items into value — and help others shop smarter.
 
 
2. Items Allowed
You can Declutter with items like:
- Phones, tablets, laptops (with original accessories if available)
- Small or large appliances (working and clean)
- Furniture in good condition
- Kitchen gadgets and electronics
- Unused or surplus items from your business
 
 
3. Items Not Allowed
We do not accept:
- Broken or damaged items that cannot function
- Counterfeit or fake products
- Personal hygiene items (e.g., used bedsheets, undergarments, cosmetics)
- Stolen or unverified items
- Anything prohibited by Nigerian law
 
 
4. Listing Guidelines
To list an item under Declutter, you must:
- Provide clear photos of the item
- Write an honest and accurate description
- Mention if the item is used or new (open box)
- Be available for same-day pickup or delivery in Ijebu Ode
 
 
5. Pricing and Payments
- You set your price, but we may advise based on condition and demand
- FBPmarket may charge a small commission for listing or handling the sale
- Payments are made securely after buyer confirmation
 
 
6. Seller Responsibility
- Ensure items are clean, functional, and match the listing
- Be honest about the item's age or wear
- Be available to fulfill delivery or pickup within 24 hours
 
 
7. Returns for Declutter Items
Due to the nature of second-hand goods, Declutter items are not eligible for return, except in cases of:
- Item not working as described
- Major misrepresentation of condition
In such cases, FBPmarket will mediate to resolve the issue fairly.
